Adeline's First Gymnastics Class

Adeline started taking her first gymnastics class this summer.  She loved going.  So far her favorite is the balance beam and the trampoline.

Renaissance Festival II

Kids loved having Aunt Sheila and Claire here for a visit this summer.  Two years ago when they visited we made a trip to the Renaissance Festival.  So we continued the tradition this year.  Our neighbors and pals the Andrews met up with us there too.  Making the day even more fun!

Montana Get Away

We spent a week visiting our friends Darcy and Ryan in Montana in August.  Rented a cute little house and enjoyed some day trips (hike, local summer festival, floating at the lake, visit to Darcy's family farm, and even got to benefit from Darcy's river rafting guide skills).  Kids all got along great and had the BEST time!  Lots of giggles and great memories.  Cannot wait for our next adventure.

 

Oliver's 6th Birthday!

We celebrated Oliver's birthday in August.  He requested a turtle/ninjao/danger mouse party.  We did our best to deliver.  The DC reptile guy was a big hit!

Little Climbers

Oliver has been to the climbing gym many times, but has shown little interest in getting on a climbing rope.  He usually packs a bag of toys and plays while Joe climbs.  This was Adeline's first trip.  We had not been for a few months.  And we invited one of Oliver's good pals, Oliver B.  Adeline immediately wanted to climb the walls.  Oliver slowly warmed up and before we knew it he was in a harness and didn't want to stop.  He is now asking for his own harness and if we can go back tomorrow.  And, of course, Adeline wants my climbing shoes.  I am sure Joe's heart is bursting now that they are both little climbers.
